my vacation is almost over. bleargh.
we started ripping up carpet all over the house. bleargh.
my back hurts because of the above. bleargh.

oh who i am kidding...life is great. i've enjoyed ripping up carpet because i've been doing it with my loverly wife. and nothing is better than when doing something tough with someone you love.

oh, i have given up on Apple iPods. after one final go around with my 5th gen 30 gig iPod i went out and bought a Sandisk Fuze. it is so much better than the iPods are. easier to use. better sound. better interface. FM radio! 24 hour battery life. drag and drop file add...what more do you need? oh add to that list expandable memory. holy crap why did i ever buy an iPod???? i'll keep the iPod to use at the salon but that's about it.

oh i'm really trying to finish a new outline for a new book. it's an idea that i am really excited about and will lead into another book i started writing way back in grad school. i will spare the details but suffice it to say it will question many ideas about a very "fundamental" topic. -^^- i wanted to have the outline done before my vacation is over but i'm not 100% sure that'll happen. especially now with the carpet ripping fest that is going on.

i know i've been really bad about updating my blog. probably so bad many of you have given up on me. don't! i'll keep updating. i'm just stretched horribly thin right now. fear not though - it'll all come together as my master plan promises me it will. bwahahahahahahahaha!
